Don’t just think that the winter is being harsh on you alone, if you have a dog you need to know that the winter can be equally a rough time for dogs as well. If you believe that your home or the kennel should be enough to keep them warm, you would actually be quite wrong. Pets often fall sick during winter and this is mainly due to all kinds of diseases that are connected to the winter weather. However, if your dog is well protected during winter with the help of these sweaters you can be rest assured about your dog keeping well during the cold winter months. You can actually accessorize your dog according to your own clothes, using scarves and socks and caps etc so that your dog can be the latest talk of the neighborhood. So your dog can be smart and well protected from winter diseases at the same time.

Also, if you have a small puppy at home, then dog or rather puppy sweaters become a necessity. Puppies during the winter months are more susceptible to the winter diseases than grown dogs as their immune system is still not fully developed so they may catch a cold very easily as well as other winter diseases. So you need to be especially careful with your dog if it is still a pup and get it warm clothes and accessories if you can. You also need not worry about the size of the sweater or the other warm clothing for the dog; such warm clothing is available in all different sizes and even if it is not of the exact fit they can always be stitched up. There are sweaters with hoods and veils if that is your style.

It is really important to choose your pet wisely rather than whims or fancy as this will indeed help you make the best right decisions regarding your pet in terms of challenging economic situations. There are countless animals that are left astray or given away to shelters in terms of economic calling with some of the greatest challenges ever to be faced by any pet owner. Searching for an apartment in terms of a changed job situation will always mean that you have some thing that is compatible for your pet as well. The Pets You Must See

Not all of the nature can be tamed by the mankind. There are still millions of species of mammals and reptiles which have been beyond the control of the man. For some herein lies the real challenge, taming the untamed.

The first instance that comes into my mind is the Madagascar hissing cockroach. The very name can make some people have nervous breakdown. But some, on the other hand, are hypnotized by the way these magnificent creatures have learned to identify each other, reproduce or defend territory.

The following creatures can be kept as pets under the government of the USA, though the regulations in different areas may vary.

Piranhas

The most dangerous fish pet, if you ask me. It can quite easily chew off a human hand. This fish is not for the weak hearted people and only the experienced people should handle these fishes.

Tarantulas

These spiders are usually not so dangerous or aggressive as the popular belief goes. They are probably the most low maintenance pets.

Madagascar hissing cockroach

Folks this is no ordinary cockroach. Firstly, they usually grow as big as 3 inches in length and almost over an inch in width and have some real strength. Don’t worry, they do not bite!

Skunk

The most feared animal of one time. But even they are having an image makeover and gaining popularity as real good pets.

Sugar gliders

The Sugar gliders are the natives of Indonesia, New Guinea and Australia, they glide, yes, they almost glide through the trees in their native lands. From a descent height they can attain a flight of up to 150 feet.

Ornery ornate horned frog

Often known as the “Pac Man” frog, the ornery ornate horned frog is famous for its bites. Some say that once this frog bites, it leaves only after sundown. This frog can eat almost everything, be it the cage mates, its human handler and its siblings even.

Hermit crab

The hermit crab is a mixture of a hermit and a crab, but it cannot be called either. They can be very nice pets and they are very sociable among their own species. There are about 800 different species of hermit crabs which can be found throughout the world. However, only the Ecuadorian crab and the purple claw crab are the two species which are usually found in the pet stores.

Potbellied pigs

These animals have been popular in the USA since the last 15 years, i.e. ever since they were first introduced from Asia. They can be easily trained and they have a very alert curiosity and a very affectionate nature.

Stick insects

The Stick insects are considered to be amongst the most popular insects which can be kept as pets. They have an amazing ability to camouflage themselves and hide in plain sight. They can do it so perfectly that one simply cannot distinguish them from the branches that they feed on.
