Ornery ornate horned frog

Hermit crab

The hermit crab is a mixture of a hermit and a crab, but it cannot be called either. They can be very nice pets and they are very sociable among their own species. There are about 800 different species of hermit crabs which can be found throughout the world. However, only the Ecuadorian crab and the purple claw crab are the two species which are usually found in the pet stores.

Potbellied pigs

These animals have been popular in the USA since the last 15 years, i.e. ever since they were first introduced from Asia. They can be easily trained and they have a very alert curiosity and a very affectionate nature.

Stick insects

The Stick insects are considered to be amongst the most popular insects which can be kept as pets. They have an amazing ability to camouflage themselves and hide in plain sight. They can do it so perfectly that one simply cannot distinguish them from the branches that they feed on.
